“Our Sevenoaks team talk to each other about our clients all the time, from the small things like their favourite drink or how a client might be feeling that day, to when they need to be seen by a GP. They love to find ways to make the time count, whether that’s bringing a favourite treat for a client, a peaceful hour at Bradbourne Lakes, a visit to a Forget Me Not café or even a game of Scrabble.”
Jo leads the Sevenoaks team with the quiet expertise that comes from years of working closely with clients, families and healthcare professionals in this area. As a qualified Dementia Trainer, she brings specialist knowledge to clients living with dementia and their families, and passes it on to every carer on her team. She is also a qualified Moving & Handling Trainer.
Our Sevenoaks roots
All About Home Care provides CQC Outstanding-rated home care in Sevenoaks, Otford, Kemsing, Seal and the surrounding villages. The Sevenoaks team is led by Jo Allchin, a qualified Dementia and Moving & Handling Trainer and the Kent Care Awards 2025 Community Homecare Worker of the Year.
Sevenoaks is a community with strong roots, and we’ve worked hard to earn our place in it. We know the town, the villages, the GPs and the district nurses, and we understand that families here often have very particular expectations of care. We meet them.
A team who know you
Our Sevenoaks clients are looked after by a dedicated team of Sevenoaks carers. They are in touch with each other all the time about every client: a change in health, a bit of shopping to pick up, washing to hang out, a favourite food or drink, how someone is feeling that day. They report concerns to the office promptly, and suggest additions to care plans when they spot something that would help.
Our team can also book GP appointments and, in some cases, send repeat prescriptions straight to the pharmacy, which eases the load for families.

Days out on companionship visits
Sevenoaks has plenty of good places for an outing: Knole Park, several National Trust properties, Bradbourne Lakes and the nature reserve, all with good wheelchair access. Jo’s favourite is Bradbourne Lakes, where she has taken many clients to sit by the water, feed the ducks and geese, and listen to the water running over the small falls.
“It is a small oasis right in the middle of our busy town, and it’s totally free.” Jo Allchin
Care people talk about
The carers are highly skilled, patient, and attentive, taking time to know him as a person, which has greatly improved his wellbeing and happiness.
We chose All About Home Care because of their CQC rating and our initial conversation with Rachael, who was understanding and reassuring from the very start.
All About Homecare stepped in when we needed them most.
