Every experience of Parkinson’s is different

Every experience of Parkinson’s is different

All About Home Care provides Parkinson’s care at home across Tonbridge, Tunbridge Wells, Sevenoaks and Maidstone, built around on-time medication, consistent daily routines and the same familiar carers.

Parkinson’s disease is a progressive neurological condition that affects movement, balance and, in many cases, cognitive function. Around 153,000 people in the UK are living with Parkinson’s, and every person’s experience of it is different. That’s why care needs to be different too.

We support a number of clients living with Parkinson’s across Tonbridge, Tunbridge Wells, Sevenoaks and Maidstone. Our carers understand the condition: the fluctuating symptoms, how critical medication timing is, and the value of a consistent, familiar face.

Adapting as needs change

What happens as Parkinson’s progresses?

Parkinson’s is progressive, so care needs change over time. We work closely with families, GPs, Parkinson’s specialist nurses and other professionals so that our care always reflects where someone is right now.

For people with complex Parkinson’s needs, this explains how NHS funding is assessed. Read our article on NHS Continuing Healthcare
