Training that makes a real difference
Before you ever step into a client’s home, you’ll already have been paid to learn.

Your first weeks, step by step
Every new carer at All About Home Care completes a paid two-day induction, paid online training, paid shadowing and the Care Certificate, followed by in-house training in medication, safeguarding, moving and handling, dementia and end of life care, with NVQ support up to Level 5.
- 1
Two-day induction (paid)
Every new carer begins here. We cover the foundations of care, our values, how we work, and what our clients expect. Practical, thorough, and paid.
- 2
Online training and beyond (paid)
Beyond the Care Certificate, carers complete additional online modules and refreshers through our training platform. All paid.
- 3
Shadowing experienced carers (paid)
You shadow experienced colleagues on real visits before going solo, and go out alone when you’re genuinely ready.
- 4
The Care Certificate
All carers complete the nationally recognised Care Certificate through online learning and practical assessment.
- 5
Specialist in-house training
Medication management, safeguarding, moving and handling, specialist dementia training and end of life care, all delivered in-house by qualified trainers.
- 6
Ongoing development and NVQ support
We support carers towards NVQ qualifications at Levels 2, 3, 4 and 5 through the Skills for Care framework.
“The quality of our care starts with the quality of our training. We don’t cut corners, because our clients and their families deserve the very best, and so do our carers.”
